We do our best to make the process of ordering signs as simple and convenient as possible. We can take orders over the phone, via e-mail, or in person depending on the order. When ordering a sign or decals think about the questions listed below. They will help us determine what materials to use…


This example is for a boat name decal…


Where is the sign going?

– Transom (back) of a boat

What do you want on the sign?
(What colours? Font selection or other artwork?)

– The name “Ol Bouy” in metallic gold in a script style font

What size would you like your sign?

– The space on the transom is 48in x 24in. I would like the font to be about 6 inches high.

How many signs would you like?

– Just one set

How long do you want it to last?

I want it to last as long as I have my boat


Having these questions answer before you call, e-mail, or visit can drastically speed up the time it takes for to process an order. We understand you may have additional questions or may not be able to answer all of the questions outlined above so our fully trained staff will be happy to help you.



Proofs are mock ups or representations of what the sign will eventually look like before we make it. We use them to verify that colours images and other content is correct, and to make any required changes before production. These can be sent out via e-mail, picked up at the shop, or faxed. Colour sensitive jobs always require the client to come to shop to verify the correct colour. We can also make a small test print on the actual production material to get an exact representation of the job. This is usually done for large jobs only.

Proofs must be looked over very carefully because once they are approved we are NOT responsible for any overlooked changes. If a proof is approved with imperfections, re-prints or additional changes can only be made at the client’s expense.
